Just found out that The Cat's Pajamas has been bottled.  Should be released the beginning of 2011.

Signing event is being planned at Witch Creek Winery.  Is there anything you would want to see or have besides, of course, the wine?

Well, Here is another watercolor on yupo.  The color strength is great and it is so easy to move the paint on the paper.  Lots of fun.

It seems as if there is some interest in a series of The Cat's Pajamas.  I am still exploring the idea.  Stay tuned to see what happens!  Merchandise? Hmmmm.....

Very exciting to see the final product.  Now, to see it on the bottle and to taste the wine.  Can't wait.  I worked on this project over this past summer.  Now we have to wait for the wine to be released, sometime next year.  Stay tuned......

More watercolor on yupo

Red Floral

I painted this while admiring an arrangement that a friend had out on her table.  I enjoyed watching the paint flow and yet the painting still remained vibrant.  This is the pleasure of painting on yupo.  Yupo is a "plastic" paper.  It comes in different thickness.  I found by prepping it first with a quick rinse of an abrasive cleaning agent, any oils from my hand or other unintended scratches are eliminated.  Because plastic repels water, the watercolor must be applied flat .  Try using yupo, you might just love it!
