Little Red Sailboat

I decided to try doing something a little bit different.  Well, actually someone asked me to paint a red sailboat for them as a gift.  This has been a fun project!  I like the colors in the sky and how arches paper (140 lbs cold press) grays out the color a bit.  Helps with the mood.

This painting reminds me of summer in a lush quite park quite possibly the Northwest.  I just let the paint and color tell me where to go.
